2010 April 25 - May 1. G.Rose & G.Scott come see Cory!

Lindsie flew out Sunday night, she had to be back to Provo on Monday, so that she could get back to work and her spring session starts too.
Grandma Rose and Grandpa Scott flew in at midnight Sunday, so they could spend some time with Cory before he leaves for his mission.

It's been awhile since their last visit, so we were all excited that they were able to come down to Houston.

Each of us took a photo with Cory before he heads up to Utah!

He doesn't look quite so big sitting next to me in the hammock!

Austin is going to miss his big brother! All this week is about Cory, and getting ready for his mission. On Monday he he had a doctors appointment, and I had class for a few hours. We sent Austin to school so that G&G could get some rest and hang out with just Cory. Cory, Dad, and Scott went to Red Barn to get burgers for lunch, and Grandma decided to hang out at the house. Just before G. Rose and G. Scott came down, the toilet in our bathroom leaked all over, and the microwave broke. But Dad took the microwave in to be fixed and Grandpa Scott fixed the toilet while he was here. Aren't Grandpa's great! Now if I can squeeze in some homework here and there, a quiz, and a major paper, that would be great!
Chuck was out of town Tuesday and Wednesday in Atlanta, but we got to hang out with him a bit during the week. Grandma Rose, Grandpa Scott, Me, Cory & Austin all went and played a round of golf at Mulligan's, we had a really fun time! Uncle Mel took Thursday off and took Grandma and Grandpa to Galveston for the day. They had a nice time walking around town and having a nice lunch. Cory spent that day with his friends, and Austin and I had school. On Friday we went to the mall to shop for some items for Cory to take on his mission. Grandma went crazy and bought everyone some stuff. How do you say no, to Grandma? That evening we went to dinner with Mel to a rib restaurant down on Fallbrook, it was sooo good! Then we hung out at home, not doing much. On Saturday, Austin had a soccer game in the afternoon and then we all went to Willies Ice house for dinner. Grandma and Grandpa had a 730pm flight out that night back to Seattle. We had a really fun week, and I'm really glad that Cory was able to spend time with Mom and Scott before he leaves on his mission.
