2010 June 10-12. Scott Anderson's wedding

Here is a cute picture of Scott & Jenn at their reception in Salt Lake on June 11, 2010.

On Thursday, June 10 night Chuck, Austin, and I flew up to SLC and stayed the night at the Microtel by the airport. On Friday we got up and went into town so that Chuck could go to the temple for Scott Anderson's sealing and Austin and I walked around temple square . Lindsie said the weather was going to be warm, so I put Austin in shorts and t-shirt...well it was 50 and raining...we had to walk down to the Gateway Mall and buy him a sweatshirt so he wouldn't freeze while we were walking around.

After the mall we walked to the visitors center.

Austin wanted to see inside the Mormon Tabernacle.

Austin took this picture of me outside the temple.

Then it was my turn to take a picture of Austin outside the temple.

Then we went on a tour in the Conference Center, Chuck caught up with us and we finished the tour by checking out all the Book of Mormon paintings. After that we meet up with Lindsie and she took Austin to Utah's Hogle Zoo.

And Chuck and I headed over to the luncheon for Scott and his new bride. Julie did a great job with the food. I took a picture of Chuck and the three boys together, he was so proud and happy for them.

I also took a picture of Julie and the whole family together. Clark was there with his girlfriend (hoping to be his wife) and Lauren was there with her husband and Bryan was there also, he didn't attend the sealing, but he was at the luncheon. He looked great, he's graduated as some kind of rocket scientist (really) and is working on putting satellites and other things into orbit. It was pretty funny to see him all grown up! Julie looked great too, and she was so very happy for Scott.

It was so nice to see their family again, and meet the newest member of the family, Jenn.

Afterwards, Lindsie brought Austin back to our hotel and we went out to dinner at California Kitchen. Then Lindsie hung out in our room for a bit and then she had to drive back home to Provo.
Lindsie looked so good, she got a new haircut, with layers, and it looks fabulous on her! I brought her some zucchini, tomato, and a few herbs from the garden,...I think she really liked em! On Saturday we had a 7:40am flight back to Houston. It was pretty cool to think that ALL OF US were in Utah at the same time!
