Poor Austin has been miserable for the past couple of days! He is totally allergic to the tree pollen, especially the oak and pine pollen. It is so thick here that is covers everything outside with a thin film of yellow.
We tried over-the-counter allergy pills, but they didn't work. Then his eye's would get so puffy that this eye-lids would almost turn inside out! A few mornings I had to have a warm washcloth ready for him so that he could open his crusted eyes! After a few days I finally took him to the doctor and they gave him a prescription for his allergies, stuffy-nose, and swollen eyes. We have had to limit the time he spends outside, because he gets so swollen and puffy!
Right now there is a lot of pine and oak pollen in the air, and poor Austin is a mess with his allergies, Mom and Dad too! I can't wait for all of this to pass so all that yellow pollen dust isn't layering everything!
